A barrel sauna is a traditional sauna drawing attention with its unusual design. It will lend your garden a unique Scandinavian look.

Its strong advantage compared to other outdoor saunas is its easy installation. It only takes a few hours because the sauna is brought onto the site completed. It requires less surface area, thanks to the massive legs it stands on.

Spruce barrel saunas

A traditional barrel sauna was made of light spruce wood based on the Finnish tradition. New technologies, such as thermal modification of wood, has come to the scene only recently. Finnish spruce is cheaper but the sauna requires greater care - regular painting with resilient lacquer or oil from the outside and sauna paraffin from the inside.

Thermowood barrel saunas

Sauna barrels made of thermally modified wood are predestined for use outdoor, exposed to the vagaries of the weather.

We supply saunas made of thermally modified Nordic spruce or pine. Thermally modified wood, or just Thermowood, withstands humidity better. It is also more stable and resilient to pests.

Cedar wood barrel saunas

Our cedar saunas are made of Western Red Cedar. This wood has many colour shades, interesting grains and looks. Literally, every board is different, and the scent gradually released from the wood is unforgettable! The life of cedar wood products is several decades to hundreds of years.

The products are highly resilient to pests and weather conditions thanks to cedar fibres. The exotic cedar wood is hence suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Sauna heaters

Barrel saunas do not come with a sauna heater. It is then up to you to choose either an electric or wood-burning heater.

The advantage of electric heaters is their unattended operation. On the other hand, wood-burning heatersheat up the space faster and bring you the authentic atmosphere of a barrel sauna as operated for centuries.

Extra accessories

We offer a broad range of accessories for barrel saunas so that you can fit the sauna to your needs. These are, for example, sauna terraces for relaxing, round or square windows, stove guards or stylish decorative lighting.
